Involved as a Visiting Faculty to introduce design historical methods in a studio course focused on interior design and culture.
Here, faculty lead (Sweety Taur) and I introduced students to take cues from popular culture mediums like magazines and films to develop design briefs.
This comes from larger research we are conducting on middle class homes in India.
Based on our course, we also presented a paper titled, ‘Inclusive Design Ecosystems: Reading “Life-Worlds” through Speculative Fiction’, as part of the Futuring Design Education Conference at IIT-Delhi in Feb 2024.
We were also a recipient of the Best Paper Award for the same.
